Established on 23 July 1983, El Kala Park, the largest national park in the north of the country, is made up of a mosaic of marine, dune, lacustrine and forest ecosystems covering an area of ​​76,438 hectares.
It is one of the last refuges of the Barbary deer. The birdlife is very remarkable thanks to an internationally renowned wetland complex, including 5 on the Ramsar wetland convention list. A marine fringe rich in coral and fish.
