The Tlemcen National Park was created on May 12, 1993 on an area of 8,225 hectares for the conservation of suberas, relict stands, zenaie moving in a humid microclimate, pine forest, 110 years old reforestation and natural sites of great curiosity such as caves and historical monuments of inestimable value.
